Clamp ribbed for extra strength and holds work up to 1.1/8 inches diameter. Hole in knurled head of screw permits using a pin or rod for tightening work. Blocks furnished in pairs. STARRETT V BLOCKS and CLAMPS 2” Capacity Clamp can be mounted on V block in low or high position for small or large work. Clamps do not project; block can be used on base, ends or sides. Block holds round work up to 2” diameter and square work up to 1.7/16” (or 1.9/16” square with screw at top). Tapped holes for mounting the V-block on face plates or angle irons. V block is made of hardened steel. All sides are precision ground parallel and square and V-groove ground central and parallel to sides and base. V-grooves of matched pairs have perfect alignment. STARRETT V BLOCKS and CLAMPS 1” Capacity Vee’s are ground central, parallel and square with ends and sides. Made of tool steel and hardened. Manufactured and numbered in pairs, so that Vee’s in each block are always in alignment. Tapped hole 1/4-20 through sides. Angle iron and blocks can then be attached to lathe face-plate or held by magnetic chuck. Each block is about 1.1/4 inches square and 1.5/8 inches long. STARRETT V BLOCK and CLAMP Large 4” Capacity This V-block will handle round work up to a diameter of 4” with the same precision and accuracy of other Starrett V-blocks. The block can be used on its side or on its end for machining or inspection, with no interference from the clamp. A reversible swing-away style clamp that clamps against almost any shape of product part is furnished with the unit. The three tapped hole positions in the V-block for the clamp allows the clamp to be positioned at either end or at the center of the V-block. Two tapped holes in one end of the V-block provide for mounting it perpendicular to a face plate. Clearance holes in the bottom provide for mounting the V-block to angle plates or other fixturing. The block is 5.1/4” wide, 3” high and 3.3/8” long and made of hardened steel that has been precision ground. The clamp is also made from hardened steel. Each V-block is furnished with two clamp screws. STARRETT PRECISION ANGLE PLATE This precision ground angle plate is 3” x 3” x 3” and made from hardened steel. The wall thickness of 1” has a grinding step of 1/4” wide x 3/4” down from the top surface that allows for the grinding, machining or inspection of small hardware items. Ten 1/4-20 tapped holes, six on the face and two on each end, provide for the clamping of work to the angle plate and/or clamping the angle block to a sine fixture or machine.
