Points screw into heads, and pencil socket with each set of trammels can be used in place of either point. No beam is furnished with these trammels. The gage is made of quality tool steel 7/16” (11 mm) wide by 6.1/4” (160 mm) long and is accurately tapered throughout its entire length for quick and convenient measuring of slot widths, etc. Although a bit expensive, this tool can and has been used as a precision shim. One side is graduated from.010” to .150” in thousandths of an inch and the reverse side from 0.3 mm to 4 mm in one-twentieth of a mm (0.05 mm). DIE MAKERS’ SQUARE WITH HARDENED & GROUND HEAD AND BLADES Complete set with standard, bevel, narrow and offset blades in a case ● The sliding blades of this tool and die makers’ square can be adjusted at an angle with the beam for measuring the clearance in dies. ● The larger knurled thumb screw locks the blades at any position. ● The standard graduated bladeis 2.1/2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. ● The narrow graduated blade is 2.1/4 inches long with 32nds graduation on one side and 64ths on the other. ● The offset blade is used where it would be impossible to sight a straight blade. Particularly useful for holding small work or thin materials without distortion. Contact edges are tapered to hold work securely and force it downward against any parallel surface.
