The Buff & Blend GP material allows removing surface contaminants without eliminating critical detail or gouging the work piece. ● Designed for use on small straight grinders. ● Blending, cleaning, and finishing. ● Decorative satin and matte finishing on Stainless Steel, Brass and Aluminum. ● Removal of surface contaminants such as rust, grease and oils ● Finishing Aluminum extrusions. ● In-line brush finish for Stainless Steel and Aluminum cookware. ● Constructed of non-woven fiber with abrasive grain ● Provides high luster finish ● Waterproof ● May be used with lubricants ● Design utilizes “face” of material rather than “edge” ● Produces fine finish without leaving “lines” associated with ganged arbor hole discs * See Below for GP & AP Applications Buff & Blend Flap Brushes Flexible face, capable of conforming to concave, convex, flat and irregular surfaces. Flap Brushes are very soft and conformable to the touch. Both the medium and hard densities allow for a controlled wheel action, maximizing removal of surface contaminants without removing critical detail or gouging the workpiece. ● Consistent face, capable of creating matte and satin finishes, leaving no lines on work piece. Flat Brushes have a uniform face with evenly distributed grain and resin. The finish produced is consistent and does not reflect lines commonly attributed with ganged arbor hole discs. ● Cool & Smooth Running Typically, Flap Brushes are used for producing uniform finishes on Aluminum, Brass and Stainless Steel. They produce long line brushed finishes. Density, pressure and angle determine the ability of the Flap Brush to remove burrs, oxidation and handling marks. The finish produced will be a direct result of the density and grade. AP - High cut rate and aggressive. This is the thinnest and most pliable of all Buff & Blend material. Useful in tough metal removal applications where access may be restricted due to part shape or channels. Only available in A/O Medium GP - Good rate of cut while providing enhanced durability when used for general duty applications. Available in Medium, Fine, Very Fine, and S/C Very Fine. HS Regular - This High Strength material provides an excellent finish and flexibility along with greater tear resistance.
