General Purpose 6”x9” Hand Pad No. 7447 & 8447 (Maroon) These pads have set the standard for surface conditioning worldwide. In cleaning, finishing, blending and deburring applications, these hand pads clean and finish faster, easier and with better results than conventional abrasives in an unlimited number of applications. Heavy Duty 6”x9” Hand Pad No. 6444 (Brown) Much more aggressive than 7447, this pad is ideal for tough maintenance and repair jobs since it can remove heavy contaminants and prepare surfaces for coating, painting or sealing. Conforms well to uneven or irregular surfaces. Ultra-Fine 6”x9” Hand Pad No. 7448 (Light Gray) Use this pad when high conformability and an ultra-fine finish on metals, woods, plastics and composites is required. It’s just right for cosmetic cleaning or for creating consistent finishes. Light Duty 6”x9” Hand Pad No. 6448 (Dark Gray) This pad is more aggressive and less conformable than 7448 and yet gives you an ultra-fine finish. It’s ideal for maintenance and repair operations to prepare surfaces for paints, sealers or other coatings. This pad was specially designed for hand blending and finishing of stainless steel. It contains a coarser mineral than the 6444 and can be used to blend away surface scratches on many other metal, wood and synthetic surfaces.
